The Mumbai I never want to see again……. (Part 2)

My mobiles alarm started to ring and I am in deep sleep and I am thinking as to how I can ditch office today…..but got to go…..earn my bread n butter………so I decided to go to office on the normal time……so I did what every one wants to do after getting up, I went to sleep again……..got up at 9am…..got ready and started to make my way towards Kandivali station…….

To my shock I got the rick very easily…..it never happens…..It must be my lucky day and all kind of good things that might happen to me started to come to my mind…..just being to optimistic…..

I reached the station and started to move towards platform 1, I am standing on the over bridge and I am shocked to see the largest crowd gathered at kandivali station……I am not able to  understand anything for a minute….the platform is so jam packed that there is no place to stand……..and to my shock I could see two local train standing on platform 1..on after the other. I started to get the idea what was the problem. For the first time I looked in the right direction and could see three more local trains standing on platform 1……..five locals on one platform………I am never going to get to work today………..

There are so many people on this station who will not get to work today…….i am feeling happy and sad at the same time…….i got hold of a TTE and inquired what is the problem. He said that there is some problem at Borivali station and people are standing on the railway tracks………the last stop for most of the locals is Borivali station……….i thought this is a big mess and it will take a lot of time to sort it out.
I am having fun at the station with so many people around…….then I realize I have at least try to get to office…..so I moved towards Kandivali West and the sight is even horrific. Half of the road is filled with people standing to get a bus……

Suddenly people started to shout on the far end of the road……it caught my attention and my eyes could not believe what I am looking at………a state transport bus is coming towards me and it is so overloaded, that people are even standing next to the driver. To my shock the ground clearance of that bus is just a few inches……..i thought that today sock abs of this bus are going to break…….ha ha ha…..

I am having fun on the street and at the station and then I suddenly realized that I have to call my boss……so I gave him a call and explained the situation…….he started to laugh and said that if possible come to office……we both knew that was not going to happen…….
So I went home and I could see the havoc created……..the train service from borivali station resumed at 4PM…….

Local trains in Mumbai are like the veins in our body without which we are nothing…….without locals Mumbai is nothing………..
